Day 1: Arrive Marrakesh
Arrive at Marrakesh Menara Airport, where you will be collected and transferred to your hotel. You will be briefed by your representative and given the opportunity to meet the tour leader and your fellow travellers. The remainder of the day can be spent exploring. Dinner provides a unique opportunity to sample the world-famous Moroccan cuisine. Overnight in Marrakesh.
Day 2: Marrakesh
After breakfast, commence the day with a historical tour of Marrakesh and admire its beautiful monuments and architecture. Sights such as the Bahia Palace, Dar Si Said Museum, the Royal Saadian Tombs and the Koutoubia Minaret will be on the menu. In the afternoon, treat your senses with a visit to the souks of the medina and stroll around the World Heritage Jemaa El Fna Square. Overnight in Marrakesh.
Day 3: Marrakesh / Casablanca / Rabat
Drive across the central plains to the city of Casablanca. Here attractions such as the Habous Quarter, the Cathedral, Hassan II Mosque and the main square will be visited. The afternoon will be spent exploring famous sights of Morocco’s capital; the Kasbah of Chellah, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, the Hassan tower, the Kasbah of the Oudaya and the Royal Palace Gardens. Overnight in Rabat.
Day 4: Rabat / Meknes / Fes
Drive inland to Meknes and spend the morning visiting the impressive granaries and stables, the Shrine and Mosque of the King, the monumental gate Bab Mansour as well as the the museum of Meknes, Dar Jamai. An informative and fascinating tour of the archaeological site of Volubilis, the antique Roman capital of Morocco, designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, will take place in the afternoon. Overnight in Fes.
Day 5: Fes
Spend the entire day exploring Fes, the oldest capital of Morocco and its medieval Medina. Drink in its colourful and vibrant souks and markets, visit tanneries, skilful artisans at work, the Nejjarine Museum and the 14th century Koran School. In the afternoon, visit the pottery workshops, the 14th century Jewish quarter and its synagogue, the Royal Palace Square and the Batha Museum. Overnight in Fes.
Day 6: Fes / Beni Mellal / Marrakesh
Enjoy a leisurely and scenic drive across the Atlas Mountains and discover a fascinating part of this country and the people who live here. Snow covered mountains in the winter, cedar forests, nomadic tribes and extended panoramic views are just a few of the attractions in store for you. For a taste of the past, a visit to a traditional Berber village is also recommended. Overnight in Marrakesh.
Day 7: Depart Marrakesh
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel in Marrakesh, you will be transferred to Marrakesh Menara Airport for your return flight.
