Kwazulu-Natal Park

Day 1: Arrive Durban    
On arrival at Durban Airport you will be met and transferred to your accommodation in the Hluhluwe area. Hluhluwe-Impfolozi Park is the oldest game reserve in Africa having been established in 1895 to protect the white rhino which were on the brink of extinction.  It is home to the Big Five as well as having cheetah, wild dog, hyena and many other game species. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 2: Zululand
Head off early morning in open safari vehicles to enjoy this scenic Hluhluwe-Impfolozi Park renowned for its variety of animal and birdlife.  Spot black and white rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes and leopards at close range. Your experienced guide will broaden your knowledge on the wildlife and the reserve’s conservation history. Zululand is home to the most famous tribe in Africa, the Zulus, and has a rich history. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 3: Zululand
Another full day of safari. A wide range of plant life in the park gives rise to a diversity of mammals, birdlife, reptiles and amphibians. Its abundance of wildlife include Nile crocodiles, hippos, blue wildebeests, jackals, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, nyalas, elands, kudus, impalas, duikers, sunis, reedbucks, warthogs, bushpigs, baboons, monkeys, a variety of tortoises, terrapins, snakes and lizards. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 4: Depart Durban
After your early morning safari and last photo opportunities you will be served breakfast and then taken back to Durban for your onward journey.
