Stellenbosch

Day 1:  Arrive Cape Town
On arrival at Cape Town Airport you will be met and taken to collect your hire car. Drive through this beautiful region to the historical town of Stellenbosch and check into your hotel. The area produces some of the finest wines and has wonderful estates open to the public.  The Cape Dutch buildings are stunning as are the views of the vineyards and mountains. Overnight in Stellenbosch.

Day 2:  Stellenbosch
Spend the day sampling highly acclaimed wines in elegant estates. The most pleasurable way to do this is to choose three or four estates in a day, have lunch at one, do a cellar tour at another, visit the manor house of another and just drink at the rest. Stroll through the oak lined streets of Stellenbosch town browsing the many interesting art and gift shops. Overnight in Stellenbosch.

Day 3: Depart Cape Town
After breakfast spend the morning at leisure. Perhaps travel further afield exploring other wine routes such as Paarl or the pretty town of Franshhoek with its exquisite restaurants and interesting shops before driving back to Cape Town for your onward journey
