Day 1: Arrive Cape Town / Oudtshoorn
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met and shown where to collect your car. Take Route 62 through the Winelands which is one of the most beautiful and least travelled roads in South Africa. Make your way via Robertson, to Montague, onto Barrydale and Calitzdorp. Arrive in Oudtshoorn and visit an Ostrich Farm, or explore the Cango Caves. Overnight in Oudtshoorn.
Day 2: Oudtshoorn / Knysna
Travel over the scenic Outeniqua Pass to George nestled below the Outeniqua Mountains, and on to the lagoon town of Knysna. Spend the afternoon exploring Knysna, one of the Southern Cape coasts best known holiday destinations situated between lush forests and the shores off the peaceful lagoon. Overnight in Knysna.
Day 3: Knysna
Knysna offers its visitors many activities and attractions; the most well known being The Heads, two great sandstone cliffs guarding the mouth of the lagoon which connects the estuary with the sea. Take a ferry cruise boat across the lagoon to the Featherbed Nature Reserve for a stroll through the forests and a view of The Heads. Overnight in Knysna.
Day 4: Depart Cape Town or Port Elizabeth
Travel back to Cape Town on the scenic coastal route or continue up to Port Elizabeth for connection to an Eastern Cape Game Reserve.
