Blue Train
Day 1: The Height of Luxury
This luxurious 5* train travels between Pretoria and Cape Town in either direction. The overnight journey takes 27 hours, and offers you the opportunity of seeing this Southern most part of Africa at a relaxing pace whilst treated to exceptional meals and wine in sumptuous surroundings. You will stop at Kimberley Hole Diamond Mine on the Pretoria to Cape Town route, and at Matjiesfontein from Cape Town to Pretoria.
Day 2: Onward Travels
There are a choice of De Luxe and Luxury suites with en suite bathrooms, the latter is slightly larger and has a full-sized bathtub. You have a personalised butler service and on board entertainment. The train has a sophisticated suspension system so you are guaranteed a smooth journey and a peaceful sleep.The main route departs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. There are occasional alternative routes to Durban, Pilanesburg and Kruger. The price is all inclusive.
