Madikwe Game Reserve
Day 1: Arrive Johannesburg
On arrival at Johannesburg Airport you will be met and taken for your onward flight to the Madikwe Game Reserve. Known as the Heritage Province it boasts the Big Five, magnificent bird life and is known for sizable packs of the endangered wild dog. It has one of the most successful wild dog rehabilitation programmes in South Africa. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 2: Madikwe
Experienced rangers will take you into the bush for dusk and dawn safaris. Due to the rich diversity of vegetation here you will be able to see a wide range of game in landscapes that offer ideal viewing. Spend today exploring this vast reserve. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 3: Depart Johannesburg
After your final dawn safari and a hearty breakfast you will be transferred back to Johannesburg airport for your onward journey. This will be by light aircraft allowing you a fabulous view of the African bush.
