Day 1: Manaus / Lodge
You will be transferred at 8am from your Manaus hotel or airport to Anavilhanas lodge. Receive a welcome cocktail,
Lodge tour and buffet lunch. Tour through Anavilhanas islands in a regional watercraft stopping off at one of the
islands to examine its unique ecosystem, observing regional plants and wildlife. After dinner take a canoe out in search of
alligators along the riverbacks. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 2: Manaus / Lodge
After a buffet breakfast hike through the woods with an experienced local to explore the
mainland forest. The guide will share his knowledge on the trees, wild fruits, herbs and jungle survival. The trail can be done entirely on foot or you can return to the Lodge by canoe ride. Buffet lunch. Visit to see Amazonian Dolphins and fish for Piranhas. Buffet Dinner and overnight at Lodge.
Day 3: Manaus / Lodge
An early start to catch the sunrise and Amazonian birds feeding. Buffet breakfast then visit to some handicraft studios and naval shipyard
in Novo Airã. After a buffet lunch visit an isolated Tiririca community to see how they live, learn about their social structure and customs. Buffet dinner and overnight at Lodge.
Day 4: Manaus / Lodge
After a buffet breakfast learn from Indian descendants how to use a bow and arrow and see how they are made. At 2pm you will leave the Lodge and be transferred back to Manaus.
