Ica Tour

Day 1: Lima / Ica
The transfer from Lima to Ica takes 4 hours. This attractive city is located on the Ica River about 300 km south of Lima along the desert coast of southern Peru. Ica is a busy town known for its warm dry climate and is referred to as The Land of the Sun. It is a significant agricultural region where grapes, cotton, asparagus, and olives are cultivated. Dinner and overnight in Ica.

Day 2: Ica / Nasca Lines
After breakfast you will learn of the extensive research carried out on the Nasca Lines by visiting Marie Reiche’s House Museum. A light aircraft will then fly you over the mysterious lines which cover an immense area. Different theories on how they were formed will be shared with you. The tour will continue onto the Aqueducts of Cantalloc and the Paredones Ruins. You will stay overnight in Ica.

Day 3: Ica / Paracas / Ica / Lima
After breakfast at the hotel you will be taken to Paracas to board a boat to the Ballestas Islands. This is home to Humboldt penguins, sea lions, and flocks of sea birds. The Paracas National Reserve nearby is a beautiful peninsula where you will see dolphins, flamingos, pelicans and cormorants. Afterwards you will make your return journey to Lima.
